On October 29th, 2011, I became a Bat-Mitzvah in the Jewish religion. As I have grown older and wiser, I have learned how important it is to give back. After spending much time thinking how I could do this, I decided to look at what I have done over the years. Biking the MS Bike Tour NYC for 4 years now, I wanted to contribute to another charity in addition to that. Last year, I did my first annual Race To The Top Of The Rock for MS (Multiple Sclerosis). I also donated my hair when I was 11 to Pantene Beautiful Lengths in memory of my late grandmother, Carol. My ponytail and 6 others were put together to make a wig for a woman with cancer. I feel that everyone deserves to feel beautiful no matter what. After doing all this work, I felt it still wasn't enough. I needed to do something especially special. I had to get my creative juices flowing... So, I came up with Photos4aKure, a non-profitable organization that will donate 100% of the profits to Susan G. Komen For The Cure. Throughout the website, you can find dozens of beautiful photos taken by people just like you and me. All 8 by 10 photos will be $20 and 11 by 14 will be $30. When you purchase a picture, you may arrange to pick it up at the office in NYC. I have already reached my goal and hope to go even farther. Please, every little bit makes a difference.
